The Mothers' Union has trained 3 Parenting Course Facilitators from this parish who facilitate groups here, and in other parts of the diocese (Marg, Ruth & Patsy). See details of Parenting Courses elsewhere on this site.
Members of LG/MU also support the facilitators of The Marriage Course, MU work & projects in the Diocese, MU Overseas & Relief Fund, and the Parish Prayer Chain, as well as taking care of practicalities like some parish catering and the church flower and cleaning rotas.
We are joining in the wider Mothers' Union diocesan project of knitting blankets and baby hats for premature babies in CUH. This will be an on-going project as the blankets and hats often go home with the baby. Anyone who likes to knit is very welcome to join with us in this project. More details from the parish office or anyone on the committee.
